About Us

SUKI started a year ago, between two best friends with a shared love for fashion, thrifting, and finding pieces that stand out.

We  had always been drawn to clothing with personality, the kind of pieces you remember, the ones that make an outfit feel different. Around the same time, we had been to a dress-up party where someone came as SUKI from Fast & Furious. That sparked our curiosity. We started researching the name, Japanese culture, and the meaning behind the word SUKI, to like, to love.

It instantly resonated with us.

SUKI became a reflection of the love we had for each other, for dressing up, for creating, and for building something that felt true to us. From there, we began learning everything we could: designing, sampling, advertising, content creation, and bringing our ideas to life.

What started as a simple idea quickly became something we were completely wrapped up in. We found ourselves obsessed with the process of designing new pieces, choosing colourways, refining fits, and creating clothing we genuinely loved, pieces we hoped our community would love too.

Our mission is to spread that same feeling through the community we are building. We want to create with care, consideration, and intention, while continuing to explore new patterns, new colours, and new styles that feel unique to SUKI.

For us, it has never been about fitting in or chasing trends. It has always been about carefully creating pieces that help people stand out, feel confident, and express themselves. 

Every fit, fabric, and design is a reflection of our passion, our love for creating, and the world we are building with SUKI.
